Touchgrind BMX 2 is a two-finger bike stunt game built around tricks, challenges and score improvement. This FAQ covers the standard iOS app, distinguishes rider flips from bikeflips, and explains purchase and save limits that matter before changing devices or reinstalling.

1. Which Touchgrind app does this cover?
This page is about the standard Touchgrind BMX 2 app. The checked iOS listing is free to download with in-app purchases and requires iOS 15.6 or later. Touchgrind BMX 2+ is a separate Apple Arcade product. Do not assume a tutorial about subscription access or a particular purchase menu applies to the standard app merely because the bike controls and product names look similar.

2. Where can I learn the actual gestures?
The game includes a How To section that demonstrates riding and tricks. Developer support directs players to it from the pause menu. Use that demonstration when a gesture produces a different move from the one you intended. Start with a single trick and observe the result, rather than combine several unfamiliar finger actions. The same control idea becomes much easier to discuss once you can name what the game registered.

3. Why did my flip become a bikeflip?
Developer support distinguishes the timing relative to a ramp. A frontflip or backflip is initiated before leaving it, while a bikeflip is initiated after takeoff. That means a similar-looking swipe can have a different result depending on the phase of the jump. Inspect the timing before assuming that the swipe direction is the only problem. Watch the demonstration for the particular trick you intend to learn.

4. Does repeating my easiest trick maximize a combo?
Developer support recommends varied tricks for higher-scoring combinations rather than repeatedly using the same one. Apply that after you can reliably finish the moves you are combining. A failed landing does not become a useful highscore plan simply because the attempted sequence was ambitious. Build a small set of understood tricks and compare a completed varied sequence with your familiar run before adding more complexity.

5. How do I gain adrenaline and find rewards?
The developer lists challenges, highscore milestones and Duels as sources of adrenaline. The Reward Track is accessed through the level button in the main menu. Check the actual challenge and claim state instead of assuming every level-up reward is added without any interaction. The current menu is the reference when labels or framing differ from an old video; an unfamiliar reward is not a reason to purchase another item blindly.

6. What changed in version 2.5.0?
The current mobile note refines camera framing during runs and fixes touches occasionally remaining stuck after a finger slid off the game view. It also moves incoming notifications to a banner while playing. If an old clip looks differently framed, that may be a version difference rather than an unavailable track. If controls remain stuck on the updated build, report the reproducible action and device instead of assuming the old symptom is expected.

7. Can Restore Purchase recover everything?
Developer support distinguishes purchased locations and Duels Gold from consumable crates. Restore Purchase does not restore all consumables by itself, and the support instructions attach additional recovery to an account connected before deletion. Keep receipts and verify the account and purchase category before reinstalling. A restored location is not evidence that every crate, reward or progress record has also been recovered.

8. Can I move progress from iOS to Android?
The developer support page explicitly excludes cross-platform transfers such as Apple devices to Android. It describes same-platform transfer using the previously connected account, with specific service names that should be checked against the current app. Do not delete the original installation before verifying the destination state. Contact support with the platform and account situation if the available menus differ, rather than assume a shared email address guarantees compatibility.

| Question | First check |
|---|---|
| Wrong flip type | Input before or after takeoff |
| Missing purchase | Location versus consumable category |
| Device transfer | Same platform and connected account |
Confirm both the app edition and the purchase category before following restoration advice. A general Restore button is not a backup of everything.
