1 What is LORT
A one to eight player co-op action roguelite set in a cursed fantasy world. You battle, loot and stack powerups while fighting toward an escape, reviving teammates as they fall.
The tone is deliberately silly. The store describes your progression as going from goblin tickler to god slapper, and promises that goblins will eventually tell horror stories about you. If that style of writing puts you off, the game itself is unlikely to change your mind.
2 It is in Early Access
The genre list is short and blunt: Action and Early Access, nothing else. That is worth knowing before buying, particularly for a game whose value depends on having friends who also own it.
What exists now is a full co-op loop with over a hundred powerups, multiple weapon types, bosses and run shaping choices. Anything beyond that is a promise rather than a purchase.
3 How many players
One to eight. The category list confirms single player, multiplayer, co-op and online co-op, so the full range is genuinely supported.
| Group size | What changes |
|---|---|
| Solo | No revives from teammates. Every powerup decision is yours alone |
| Two to four | Combos between players start to matter and roles can be split |
| Five to eight | The advertised chaos. Coordination gets harder than the enemies |
4 Weapons and powerups
Four weapon families are named: swords, wands, bows and a gun. They can be swapped freely during a run rather than locked in at the start, which is unusual and makes experimenting cheap.
The powerup count is over one hundred, and four are named on the store page as examples: Nah's Barrier, Boomer's Blessing, Trophy of Swole and Cool Comfy Shorts. The naming tells you the design philosophy: these are meant to be mixed, matched and stacked rather than balanced against each other.
5 How much do you shape a run
More than in most roguelites. The description says you pick your ingredients and choose your quests, and that those choices determine which enemies, cursed locations and bosses appear.
That makes a failed run partly a planning error rather than purely bad luck, which is a meaningful difference. If a particular boss keeps ending your runs, the answer may be to construct a different run rather than to get better at that fight.
6 Accessibility options
Two accessibility categories appear in the feature list, and both are worth pointing out because they are frequently missing from games in this genre.
Full controller support is also listed rather than partial, along with Steam Cloud saves and Family Sharing.

8 The requirements table is a good one
Most store requirement lists tell you what hardware to have but not what you get for it. This one does both, and that makes it far more useful than usual.
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 | Windows 11 |
| Processor | i5-9400F or Ryzen 5 4600 | i7-11700F or Ryzen 7 5800X |
| Memory | 8 GB | 16 GB |
| Graphics | GTX 1060 or RX 580 | RTX 3070, RTX 4070 or RX 7900 |
| Storage | 4 GB | 4 GB |
| What you get | Low settings, 30 frames per second | Epic settings, 60 or more frames per second |
The last row is the part other developers should copy. Knowing that the minimum tier targets thirty frames per second on low settings lets you decide whether your machine is genuinely suitable, rather than guessing.
An Early Access co-op action roguelite for one to eight players in a cursed fantasy world, with swords, wands, bows and a gun that can be swapped freely, and over a hundred stackable powerups. You shape each run by picking ingredients and quests, which determines the enemies and bosses you face. USD 14.99, 69 achievements, fourteen languages, full controller support, custom volume controls and playable without timed input. The requirements table states the target settings and frame rate for each tier, which makes it more useful than most.
