MineMogul FAQ
An underground factory sandbox where the physics is real, and the store tells you exactly how many objects your processor can hold.

1 What is it

A physics based automation sandbox set underground. You mine resources, buy machines, and build factories through twisting mineshafts, winding conveyors between them to automate production.

The genre list reads Indie, Simulation, Strategy and Early Access. If you have played factory building games before, the structure will be familiar. The physics is the part that is not.

2 It is in Early Access

Early Access appears in the genre list, and the game was released on 4 December 2025 by NoodleForge, a two person credit given on the store as Gvarados and Diomonder.

Buy it for the sandbox that exists now. Factory games in particular tend to grow substantially during Early Access, but growth is a hope rather than a purchase.

3 Real physics, and what that costs

Most factory games move items along conveyors as data. Here they are simulated objects, and the store is upfront about the consequence: conveyors overflow, parts scatter, and unexpected physics mishaps keep you on your toes.

Chaos is a listed feature, not a bug report
The store heading is literally Manage The Chaos. A design that works on paper and collapses in practice is the intended experience, so expect to tweak layouts rather than to calculate them once.

4 The 2000 object figure

The requirements section carries a note that almost no store page provides, and for this genre it is the single most useful sentence on the page.

Quoted from the store
The game uses real physics simulation for everything. A stronger processor allows more physics objects, and the minimum processor listed should be enough to support about 2000 objects at once.

That turns an abstract worry into a planning number. In a factory game, the object count is your actual budget, and knowing that the entry level tier holds roughly two thousand tells you what scale of base is realistic before you build it.

ComponentMinimumRecommended
Operating systemWindows 10Windows 11 or newer
ProcessorRyzen 5 3600 or Core i5-10400Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7-9700K
Memory8 GB16 GB
GraphicsGTX 950 or Radeon R9 380GTX 1060 or RX 5600 XT
Storage2 GB2 GB

Note that the graphics requirement is modest while the processor requirement carries all the weight. That is exactly what you would expect from a game where the simulation, not the rendering, is the expensive part.

5 The three pillars

PillarWhat the store describes
Build a sprawling factoryCasual construction of massive interconnected factories deep underground
Explore the unknownA hollowed cave system with secrets, hidden resources and ruins of abandoned mining operations
Manage the chaosOverflowing conveyors and scattered parts as the factory grows

The word casual in the first pillar is worth noticing. This is presented as a relaxed builder rather than a ratio optimising puzzle, which sets expectations differently from the heavyweight games in the genre.

6 No achievements and no controller

Two absences are worth stating plainly rather than leaving you to find out. The achievement count is zero, and the feature list contains no controller support of any kind.

What the list does contain is single player, playable without timed input, stereo sound, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. The playable without timed input flag suits a building game, and cloud saves matter more than usual when your progress is a base you have spent hours arranging.

8 Who this suits

Good fit ifPoor fit if
You enjoy building for its own sakeYou want a finished, balanced product
Physics going wrong amuses youYou want deterministic throughput maths
Your processor is comfortably above the minimumYou need achievements or a controller
Summary

An Early Access underground factory sandbox at a list price of USD 14.99, where conveyors, parts and machines are all simulated with real physics rather than moved as data. That makes overflow and scattering part of the design, and it makes your processor the limiting factor: the store states the minimum tier supports roughly 2000 physics objects at once. Single player only, eleven languages, Steam Cloud, no achievements at all, and no controller support listed.
