Q What kind of RPG is this
A medieval sandbox CRPG. You create a character with an origin, gather a squad, and travel a region called the Freelands doing more or less whatever you choose: quests, trade, gladiatorial arenas, banditry, or holding a castle.
Combat is real time with pause. You stop the flow, issue precise orders to your squad, and resume. There is also a Tactical AI Trigger and Editor for setting up how your party behaves without micromanaging every second.
So this is a party game, not a solo action game. If what appeals to you is directing several characters rather than controlling one well, this is aimed squarely at you.
Q Will it run on my machine
| Item | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 7, 8 or 10, 64-bit | Windows 7, 8 or 10, 64-bit |
| CPU | Core i5-3450 or FX-6300 | Core i5-4690 or FX-8300 |
| Memory | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| Graphics | 2 GB, GTX 660 or HD 7870 | 4 GB, GTX 1060 or RX 480 |
| Storage | 60 GB | 60 GB |
The graphics requirement is mild, which tells you where the load actually is. This is a memory and storage heavy game rather than a graphics heavy one, which is consistent with the number of NPCs and items it tracks. Windows only, with no Mac or Linux build listed.
Q Is there controller support
No controller support is listed. The store features are single-player, Steam Achievements and Steam Trading Cards only, with no entry for partial or full controller handling.
That is normal for a pause and order party RPG, where precise pointing matters more than analogue movement, but it is worth knowing in advance if you were planning to play from a sofa. Plan on keyboard and mouse.
Q How large is the world
Alongside those, the developers list more than 200 different monsters and 150 handcrafted side quests. There are 29 achievements, which is modest relative to the content, so achievement count is a poor proxy for length here.
Q How much freedom do you actually get
More than most games that use the word sandbox. There are no class restrictions: over 200 combat skills and 100 magic skills can be mixed freely, so your character is defined by what you invest in rather than by a label chosen at the start.
Beyond the character, you can build a merchant caravan or a mercenary company, occupy and manage castles, and take arena contracts. The side stories are described as involving choices that decide the fate of the people in them, including whether you play as a protector or a predator.
Q Languages, release and extras
Released on 28 April 2025 by PersonaeGame Studio, published by Kunpan Games. Eleven interface languages are listed, including Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Polish and German, with English carrying full voice acting.
Steam Trading Cards are supported and one piece of downloadable content is published alongside the base game. The base purchase is USD 29.99.
A USD 29.99 medieval sandbox CRPG for Windows from PersonaeGame Studio, released April 2025. Two numbers deserve a check before buying: 16 GB of RAM is the minimum, and 60 GB of storage is required. There is no controller support.
