What kind of game is Commander Quest?
Commander Quest combines roguelike deck building with automatic unit battles in a fantasy setting. Flyway Games developed it and publishes it with KRAFTON; the Steam release date is 4 April 2025. You build around cards, relics, unit interactions and commander abilities. Automatic fighting does not mean every meaningful decision happens before a battle: released card descriptions include choosing targets, placing special tiles and effects triggered by playing other cards. The beginner and synergy guides below explain concrete examples.
Is it single-player, and which platforms are listed?
The current Steam listing identifies single-player support, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. Its platform data lists Windows, without native macOS or Linux support. Do not interpret the automatic-battle label as online multiplayer or assume that a compatibility layer is officially supported. The listed interface and subtitle languages are English, Korean, Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and German. The 21 October 2025 patch added a launch rating display specifically for the Korean language setting; the notice says other language settings do not show it.
How much does it cost, and is there a demo?
The US store API checked on 26 October 2026 lists a base price of USD 11.99 with no discount in that snapshot. Check your regional store before buying, since currency and promotions vary. A free demo is listed separately. The 1 August 2025 update added transfer of demo profile data into the full version, automatically on first play after that update and also through a manual settings button. The announcement does not define every transferred field, so do not assume a particular unfinished battle resumes unchanged.
What changed after release?
The 1 August update added human-focused cards, neutral cards, relics and quests, reworked access to the Final Chapter and its final battle, and introduced Endless Dream mode. It also expanded the shop card selection from four to eight and added world-map route highlighting. The 22 August update added an Ember Enhancement option for choosing a starting card and changed Endless Dream escalation. This is a released game with later content updates; calling its launch content permanently fixed would miss those changes.
What is Endless Dream?
After a game ends, the results screen offers entry to Endless Dream. The enemy commander cannot be killed and returns to full HP every turn, while enemy numbers and statistics keep increasing. The mode measures how long your deck can last and how much damage it produces, rather than offering an ordinary final-boss victory. The later 22 August patch moved intensified enemy patterns from turn 30 to turn 20 and makes sheep double attack and HP each turn starting at turn 20. Older launch descriptions of the mode therefore need that correction.
What PC requirements should I check?
The minimum listing specifies Windows 10/11, a 64-bit system, Core i5-4670K at 3.4 GHz or similar, 8 GB RAM, GeForce 970 or better, DirectX 12 and 5000 MB storage. The recommended CPU is Ryzen 5 3600 at 3.60 GHz or similar, with GeForce 1060. The recommended memory field still says 16 MB, conflicting with the 8 GB minimum on the same page. That is what the source prints; it does not establish a confirmed 16 GB requirement. Compare your PC with the minimum and seek clarification instead of treating the contradictory number as reliable.
Which guide should I use next?
Use the beginner guide for the world-map highlighting feature, the expanded shop and current Final Chapter access conditions. Use the synergy guide for specific card and relic interactions, including effects on generated cards and an important later change to a card that counts as multiple attack types. Neither guide claims a universal best deck or a guaranteed route. The current official notes give precise effects for particular cards; broad claims that smaller decks or relics always win are not a substitute for reading those conditions.
