The Mound hides much of its structure behind poorly explained systems, and the official achievement list is the clearest map of what exists: named creatures, collections, unlockable characters and mission tiers. This page combines that list, where all 25 achievements show their conditions, with what DualShockers, GamingBolt and Game8 describe. Where reviewers disagree or a detail is unclear, it says so. Survival basics are on the beginner guide.

1 Creatures you will meet

Y'm-bhi
Game8 describes them as reanimated corpses. They can grab players; aim for the head.
Bandurria
A flying creature; Long Shot asks you to shoot one down from at least 50 meters.
Larger horrors
Reviewers describe creatures with extra, independent limbs and giant beasts that are hard to counter early.

One tool stands out in the achievement list: jars of Black Ichor, which lure creatures. Like Moths to a Flame asks you to lure five at once with a single jar. Luring is a way to move threats away from your route or your cart without spending ammunition.

2 The Creature Codex and logbooks

CollectionWhy it mattersAchievements
Creature CodexPages record the creatures; knowledge is your main edgePages Best Left Blank (7), The Horrors Named (13)
LogbooksRecovered from forts; unlock new starting points and storyRecords of the Lost (7), The Full Account (13)

GamingBolt says a logbook retrieved from a fort at the end of a mission unlocks new locations and reveals details of previous adventures. Because forts become starting points, early logbooks also shorten the walk into deeper areas on later runs.

3 Ranks, the galleon and the Woodworker

Ranks are the persistent progression. GamingBolt says inventory slots expand as you rank up, and achievements mark ranks 10, 20 and 30. Reviewers are united that this progression is thin, so do not expect runs to become easy through upgrades alone.

Galleon shop
Relics of Blasphemy: bring back 5 new occult tools or artifacts for the shop.
Woodworker
Nine Guardians: have the Woodworker craft 9 Sacred Figures. DualShockers mentions carvings costing 100 coins.
Currency names differ between reviews
GamingBolt describes spending tokens at the vendor, while DualShockers talks about coins for carvings, and also wondered whether carvings worked correctly on the cart. Check the in-game shop text rather than relying on either term.

4 Characters and the Lute Player

Seven Willing Souls asks you to unlock seven playable characters, so the roster of explorers grows over time. The galleon also has a Lute Player: Patron of the Arts is for finding two additional songs for them, which means songs are something you discover in the jungle and bring back. Both are small touches that make the galleon feel like a base that grows with your expeditions.

5 Mission tiers and The Mound

GoalAchievement
Complete a mid-level missionA Dire Commission
Complete an advanced missionA Fateful Commission
Complete a legendary missionA Legendary Commission
Reach The MoundThe Mound

Reaching The Mound is the headline goal of the whole game, and DualShockers estimated anywhere from 5 to 40 hours depending on how far you push the difficulty. DualShockers also describes a frustrating difficulty spike once you move past the early areas, so climb the mission tiers only when your group is comfortable.

6 All 25 achievements

GroupAchievements and conditions
Treasure and missionsA Little Extra (20% over demand), Greed Rewarded (50% over), A Dire Commission, A Fateful Commission, A Legendary Commission, The Mound
RanksProven in the Field (10), Scarred but Standing (20), Tempered by Madness (30)
TeamworkPulled from the Brink (10 revives), Refusing the Grave (30), Too Stubborn to Die (50), Just in Time (interrupt a grab)
Combat skillOne Clean Throw (spear headshot kill), Aim True (50 headshots), Long Shot (Bandurria at 50 m), Like Moths to a Flame (lure 5 with one jar)
Collections and baseRecords of the Lost, The Full Account, Pages Best Left Blank, The Horrors Named, Seven Willing Souls, Patron of the Arts, Relics of Blasphemy, Nine Guardians

A sensible order is to let teamwork, combat and treasure achievements come naturally in early runs, push logbooks and Codex pages while you learn areas, and leave the advanced and legendary commissions, rank 30 and The Mound for when your group knows the jungle well.

Summary

The achievement list names Y'm-bhi, which grab players, flying Bandurria and Black Ichor jars that lure creatures. Codex pages and logbooks each have goals at 7 and 13, and logbooks unlock new starting points. Ranks run to 30 and expand inventory, while the galleon shop, the Woodworker and the Lute Player grow with what you bring back. Missions climb from mid-level to legendary, reaching The Mound is the headline goal, and all 25 achievements show their conditions.
