A useful first session starts with a clear objective and a role the unit can use. This guide connects mode awareness, communication, movement and support tasks using current official descriptions. It avoids invented map routes or weapon rankings and treats the battlefield as a fictional game setting.
- Check the objective before leaving the spawn
- Choose a unit role you can explain
- Keep the unit informed when plans change
- Learn shared movement before specializing
- Use faction support within its own roster
- Apply the current basic-construction cost
- Treat the extra Medic slot as a role option
- Review a problem at the correct layer
1. Check the objective before leaving the spawn
Identify whether the server is playing Warfare or Offensive and what your team is trying to hold or change. Warfare has five sectors; Offensive divides attack and defence. Ask which objective the unit is supporting before following an isolated movement cue. This makes the trip meaningful without assuming one universal route. The listing provides the mode structure, not a verified fastest path or a safe crossing for every map and match state.

2. Choose a unit role you can explain
The six unit types divide infantry, reconnaissance, armour, helicopter, mortar and command work. Read the selected role and tell the unit which responsibility you are taking. A familiar weapon is only part of that choice. The roster includes Engineer and Medic support roles as well as leaders and vehicle crews. Current role availability depends on the session, so do not interpret an occupied slot as a missing game feature or try to solve it through unrelated settings.

3. Keep the unit informed when plans change
The store emphasizes coordination between large teams and specialized units. Give useful context about the objective or support task rather than treating all movement as independent. Patch 1.6 also fixes use of the controller voice-chat radial while leaning. If a communication control behaves unexpectedly, distinguish the input symptom from the team plan. The notes do not establish that every voice device or server setting shares the same cause.

4. Learn shared movement before specializing
Swimming, climbing and other movement changes expand how players navigate the maps. Try the relevant action in an appropriate current situation and check the control configuration before relying on it for a unit task. Those features do not guarantee that every surface is climbable or every water route is useful. A successful movement action and a successful objective contribution are separate outcomes; choose the route with the current team plan in mind.

5. Use faction support within its own roster
US helicopters support supply movement, NVA tunnels support that faction, and patrol boats appear on both sides. Confirm what your current faction and role can actually operate before planning transport. A video from the other faction can show a valid feature without applying to your unit. The official overview does not justify a universal vehicle route, exact delivery schedule or an assumption that one transport choice always replaces the need for coordination.

6. Apply the current basic-construction cost
With 1.6, Level 1 buildables are free to place and construct. Supplies remain necessary for upgrades, so distinguish establishing basic cover from raising its level. Engineers still face placement limits. The patch gives two barbed-wire items and two barricades per Engineer, and one bunker, with separate team limits for barricades and bunkers. Plan within both layers rather than interpreting the free cost as permission to place an unlimited number of every structure.

7. Treat the extra Medic slot as a role option
The unit change permits two Medics instead of one and reduces Rifleman slots from three to two. Recheck the current roster if an older unit guide lists a different composition. The extra slot increases a documented choice; it does not require every unit to use the same arrangement or guarantee a particular survival rate. Choose the support job the current unit needs and keep the communication, position and match objective in view.

8. Review a problem at the correct layer
After the session, identify whether the obstacle was an unclear objective, role access, movement, communication or a known technical issue. The later feedback leaves a Huey M60 sensitivity exception and ongoing AMD investigation. Changing the whole role plan cannot prove that an input bug is resolved. Conversely, adjusting one setting does not answer a missing support request. Record the mode, role, action and version so the next session tests the relevant question.

| Observed problem | Useful next check |
|---|---|
| Movement feels purposeless | Current mode and unit objective |
| Construction plan cannot proceed | Basic level, upgrade supplies and limits |
| Action differs from an old guide | Role composition and current correction |
Begin with one useful job. Confirm its controls and current limits, then connect it to the objective the unit is actually supporting.
