Q1. What kind of game is Last Shelter: Survival?
A. A post-apocalyptic 4X mobile MMO by IM30. You build a base, recruit and level heroes, train troops, gather resources, and join an alliance. The endgame is competing in cross-server events like KE (Kingdom Expedition) and the cross-state war seasons.
Q2. What should I focus on first?
A. Headquarters upgrades unlock everything else, so HQ progression is the spine of early play. Around it, level your strongest heroes, build a working economy (farms, mills, oil pumps), and join an alliance as soon as you can. Solo play is fine until level 9; after that, alliance membership becomes mandatory.
Q3. What is an alliance for, exactly?
A. Resource help, troop reinforcement, gathering protection, and shared events. A good alliance teaches you how the game works faster than any guide; a bad alliance gets you farmed in PvP. Pick one with active leadership over one with high server rank.
Q4. What heroes should I focus on?
A. Combat heroes for your strongest army comp first. The development heroes (Anais, Hoyt) speed up your base; the combat heroes (Sergey, Wayne, Ghost, etc.) define your power in war. Spend hero badges on a small team rather than spreading across many.
Q5. How do I avoid being attacked?
A. Shields (peace shields) protect your base from attacks. Use them around events and overnight. Train more troops than your alliance reinforcement can fit, and stagger production so a single attack does not wipe everything. Below level 10 you have natural new-player protection.
Q6. What is power and does it matter?
A. Power is a sum of buildings, research, heroes, and troops. It is a rough indicator but a bad target. Players who chase power often have weak armies because they trained low-tier troops to inflate the number. Power without comp is paper.
Q7. Is the game pay-to-win?
A. Yes and no. Top servers are dominated by spenders. Free play is viable for years if you stick to a strong alliance, time events well, and avoid PvP losses. The pay walls are real, but the patient free path also works.
Q8. What platforms is it on?
A. iOS and Android. Cross-platform progress is tied to your account login.
