Q1. What kind of game is Apocalypse Inc.?
A. An idle clicker tycoon with a dark-comedy framing: you run a doomsday corporation, hiring managers and unlocking disasters (asteroid, plague, zombies, etc.) to make money. The gameplay is standard idle: tap, automate, prestige, repeat.
Q2. What are managers for?
A. Managers automate each disaster line. Without a manager, you have to tap to run the cycle. With a manager, it runs while you are away. Hiring managers is the moment the game becomes idle rather than active.
Q3. When should I prestige?
A. When your current cash growth feels slow and the prestige bonus would multiply income enough to leap forward. Most idle games show a clear inflection point; resist prestiging too early (the multiplier is small) or too late (you waste hours of growth you already had).
Q4. What is the doom currency?
A. Premium currency earned through prestige and rare events. Spend doom on permanent upgrades that compound across prestiges. Avoid spending doom on temporary boosts.
Q5. Why does progression slow down?
A. Idle math always slows down between prestiges. That is the design. If progress feels stuck, you are usually one prestige away from a big leap. Push the current run until the next major upgrade, then prestige.
Q6. Are there ads or in-app purchases?
A. Optional ads accelerate runs. In-app purchases unlock cosmetic packs and accelerators. The free pace works fine if you log in once or twice a day.
Q7. How much active play is needed?
A. Very little. The game is designed for short check-ins. Five minutes in the morning, five in the evening, and the idle progress fills the gaps.
Q8. What platforms is it on?
A. iOS and Android, free with optional ads.
