Gallipoli covers what the store calls the infamous four-year campaign across the Ottoman fronts, from beach landings to desert cities. This page is the reference half of the guide: where you fight, who you fight as, what each class is for, and how the 38 achievements break down. All achievements show their conditions on the official Steam list. Map dates come from the Wikipedia summary. Mechanics such as suppression and momentum are explained on the beginner guide.
1 The battlefields
| Map | Period | What stands out |
|---|---|---|
| Anzac Cove | 25 April 1915 | A dawn beach landing to seize the Dardanelles |
| V Beach (Cape Helles) | 25 to 26 April 1915 | Attack the fort aboard the SS River Clyde |
| Ctesiphon | 22 to 25 November 1915 | Fighting under the ancient Arch of Ctesiphon |
| Kut Al Amara | December 1915 to April 1916 | Street fighting in Lower Mesopotamia |
| Suez | January to February 1915 | Listed by Wikipedia; not described on the store page |
The store also mentions coastal ravines, arid deserts and urban areas. Boats matter on the landing maps: Row, Row, Row Your Boat is for reaching the shore in one, and Oar Not To Be for killing 50 enemies riding in boats.
2 The two sides
Each side has its own authentic arsenal. The Henry the Fifth achievement names the Martini Henry rifle, and G2A reports that the Light Machine Gunner class is British only.
3 The ten classes
The store names four classes: Officer, Heavy Machine Gunner, Sniper and Stretcher Bearer. Wikipedia adds the Light Machine Gunner. G2A lists the full roster at launch, adding Rifleman, Engineer, Spotter, Ammo Bearer and Bomber. The roles below combine those sources with what the achievement list implies.
| Class | Role |
|---|---|
| Officer | Leads the squad and its support options |
| Heavy Machine Gunner | Suppressive fire and area control; The whole 9 yards is 200 HMG kills |
| Light Machine Gunner | Mobile suppression (British only) |
| Sniper | Long-range suppression and priority targets |
| Stretcher Bearer | Keeps wounded soldiers in the fight |
| Rifleman, Bomber | Frontline fighting; grenades and rifle grenades feature in several achievements |
| Engineer, Spotter, Ammo Bearer | Support roles; exact kits are best checked in game |
4 Progression and prestige
Progress runs on three tracks. Wikipedia notes that weapon proficiency grows through use rather than unlocks, and the store says experience improves aim, handling and reloading while suppressed. The achievement list shows the rest of the structure.

6 Planning the long ones
Gallipoli fights across Anzac Cove, V Beach at Cape Helles, Ctesiphon, Kut Al Amara and, per Wikipedia, Suez, between the British Empire and the Ottoman Empire. Ten classes range from Officer and machine gunners to Stretcher Bearer. Progression covers account level, class prestige and weapon prestige. All 38 achievements show their conditions, and full completion means maxing every class and weapon, winning on both sides and playing specific maps.
