Check the price, platform requirements and current modes before choosing this squad-building survival game. Artifact crafting, optional difficulty help and the anniversary additions answer different questions.
1. What kind of game is this?
I Am Legion: Stand Survivors combines wave survival with a squad of summoned fighters called Stands. The store describes a limit of eight active Stands and a roster of more than 100. Individual summons have different attacks and abilities, while heroes supply another set of build choices. The appeal is assembling interactions while surviving the battlefield, rather than selecting a single weapon and leaving the rest unchanged.
Steam lists single-player play. A squad of eight summons does not mean eight human players, and the current category list does not advertise online or local cooperative play. The game is developed by JA Game Studio and published by Gamersky Games. The English store gives 6 March 2025 as the release date; the current genre list does not label the game Early Access.
2. How much does it cost, and what is included?
The US Steam API lists a regular base-game price of USD 8.99 on 26 October 2026. This is the base game price, rather than a bundle total or an estimate of the price in another country. Check the Steam purchase panel for the current local amount and any discount. The present store description includes Orange Stands and Artifact Mode, so launch-era coverage alone misses substantial systems.
Version 2.0 introduced Artifact Mode alongside the older Classic Mode. The first-anniversary update then added Gauntlet Relay within Artifact Mode: three maps played in succession with dozens of bosses. That is a specific multi-map challenge, rather than a claim that every ordinary stage now contains three maps. The anniversary announcement also added Monk - Xuanji, a character designed around both physical and magic combat.
3. Will it run on an older computer?
The published minimum lists a 64-bit processor and operating system, a 2 GHz CPU, 2048 MB RAM, graphics memory of 128 MB with OpenGL 3+, DirectX 11 and 350 MB of available storage. These are store requirement figures, not benchmark results. Storage space is not an exact download size, and low requirements alone do not establish stable performance in crowded late-game battles.
The game requirement panel still says Windows 7+, while the same Steam page warns that the Steam client supports Windows 10 and later from January 2024. Treat those as separate statements: the legacy game requirement does not promise that an old Windows installation can run the current client. Steam lists a Windows build; the API does not list native macOS or Linux builds. Do not read that as a test of compatibility tools.
4. What changed about crafting?
Artifact Mode offers a choice of three Artifacts when forging, according to the developer deep dive. Ore can refresh that selection. Purple Artifacts can contribute combo effects, and synthesis trees show how pieces connect. This is more structured than blind reforging, but it still includes selection and a paid refresh action. It is inaccurate to describe the mode as having no rerolls.
The Devour feature spends Gold on crafted Purple Artifacts so their effects and synergies can apply without occupying an equipment slot. A character level increase raises the Devour cap. The store separately describes proportional Ore refunds when selling gear; proportional does not mean complete reimbursement. A player planning expenses should distinguish forging, Ore refreshes, Gold spent on Devour, and the actual refund displayed in the current mode.
5. Is there help if a stage keeps defeating me?
The anniversary update added Adversity Boost, an optional setting that starts disabled. When switched on, time accumulated through failed attempts gives an additional Boss Damage bonus for the current stage. This is a documented assistance option, not a reason to assume that ordinary failure automatically produces a bonus in every save. Check the setting and the current stage before evaluating the result.
The same update made 2x speed permanently available after ten game clears. That is a clear-count condition, not a promise of immediate access or a reward for ten failed attempts. Artifact inventory capacity increased from 24 to 30 slots. These changes can explain why a recent screenshot differs from an older video, even when both are showing Artifact Mode.
6. What about languages, controllers and saves?
The Steam API lists full controller support, DualShock and DualSense support, Steam Cloud and 80 achievements. Cloud support is a feature listing, not a guarantee that a particular device has finished synchronizing. Check the client synchronization state before switching machines. The developer also announced Steam Deck support in March 2025, but the hardware requirements above should not be treated as a device-specific performance test.
The interface language list contains English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Russian, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish. Interface translation does not establish a full voice track in each language. The game involves frequent fantasy combat; its current store API has no content-descriptor warning. For build decisions, use the companion guides below rather than treating a storefront feature list as a recommended squad.
