Chasing a diamond rating, borrowing from the Mafia, running night shifts, and dividing a co-op park sensibly.
Released version: Version 1.0 launched on 31 July 2026 after Early Access. Checked 26 October 2026.
Comfort setting: The developer provides No Guest Sickness in game settings for players affected by depictions of guests becoming sick. It can be enabled or disabled at any time.

1. Diagnose the rating through actual complaints

The store describes cleanliness, slide enjoyment, food and amenities as contributors to guest happiness and park rating. These are useful categories to inspect, rather than a published formula with four equally weighted inputs. Open Visitor Thoughts in the tablet Park tab and identify the recurring complaint before spending. Later satisfaction adjustments account for guests who have spent less than two hours in the park and make perfect satisfaction less common when problems remain. A single headline number is therefore less informative than checking what visitors are asking for and whether the relevant service is working.

2. Match the employee to the unfinished task

Security removes troublesome guests, mascots improve happiness and reduce boredom, while vendors and restockers keep services supplied. Benches and loungers help tired guests recover energy; adding security will not address that need. The useful staffing question is which job is not being completed often enough in your current park. As practical advice, observe one operating period after a change before deciding the next hire. This avoids turning a particular staff type into a universal first choice without knowing your layout, difficulty, existing team or finances.

3. Use two-star vendor multitasking and shelves

The shelves and multitasking release added research that lets a vendor handle several stands. The subsequent 1.0.93 patch makes multitasking unlock at two stars, updating the earlier announcement that described it only as a later-game feature. Find the research under the Park tab at the research table. Shelves accept nearby dropped Caymart supplies and let staff retrieve them for restocking. Check the research unlock, assignments and stock together when consolidating service work; simply hiring another vendor does not organize an empty supply chain.

4. Understand breaks, days off and quitting

Staff management now lets you give an employee a day off early in the day, during which you do not pay them. The feature cannot be used at the end of the shift after making the employee work all day. Security also has a short interval between ejecting troublesome guests; 1.0.99 reduces that interval and lets security begin as soon as the park opens. Staff can quit after repeated player bullying, with an accessibility option to disable quitting added in 1.0.48; Easy and Sandbox staff do not quit. If a worker seems inactive, check assignment, break or day-off status before replacing them.

5. Budget for night operation

Night operation is an additional service period with costs. The 1.0 release explicitly says employees are paid more, and cheaters appear somewhat more often; luminous bracelets help you identify them after dark. A later patch prevents activating night mode without enough money. Before extending the day, check that the park can cover the extra payroll and that services are staffed and supplied. This is a management decision based on your current park, rather than automatic income from facilities that have already been built. Normal, Easy and Hard also have different salary and maintenance balances.

6. Treat the Mafia as an optional quest decision

The 1.0 announcement identifies the Mafia as an optional quest line involving loans. The store confirms access to money at a cost, but the checked released information does not establish an interest table or a universally profitable purchase to finance with it. Decide whether you want to engage with that quest line and read the terms presented in your game before accepting. Version 1.0.50 fixes the encounter becoming missable after saving and quitting on the day the Mafia should reappear. A missing visitor in an older build should therefore be distinguished from an intentional progression requirement.

7. Protect shared parks and check current fixes

The host can restrict building, demolition, hiring, research spending, painting and purchases; the later shelves update also permits disabling pool plugs for non-hosts through park management. Set these before guests begin a focused rating session, then assign jobs by agreement. Patch 1.0.119 fixes staff sticking or teleporting and the activity display failing to update. Those fixes are relevant if the staffing screen and visible work disagree. For seasonal play, the October Halloween event shares collected candy points with all multiplayer participants and keeps unlocked decorations across parks; seasonal events can be disabled in Accessibility settings.
