The game remains in Early Access. This guide covers released features; announced additions can change. Lightning flashes can be turned off in Settings if they feel too intense, as explained in the developer update linked below.

1. Expand capacity with the Wolforge Hammer

Shop expansion now uses the Wolforge Hammer to remove selected interior walls. Each removed wall increases capacity and allows more shoppers through the portal. The update also opens the entire second floor through the expansion system, giving you a defined progression beyond rearranging the starting room.

Plan which room needs more usable space before removing walls. A practical design approach is to place the main route and displays first, then decorate the remaining space. The official capacity effect belongs to wall removal; there is no published basis here for claiming a particular decorative arrangement raises customer spending.

2. Pause restocking before rearranging

Stocking Wisps can be disabled. The developer added this specifically so employees do not undo your work while you reorganise shelves. Turn them off for the move, inspect the new arrangement, then restore the shop work you want automated.

Product displays also have a decoration mode, toggled with right-click or your remapped equivalent. In this state you can freely place items, including crafting objects, and use displays as functional crafting setups. Decide whether a display is selling goods or supporting a designed scene before filling it.

3. Recover furniture with the upgraded wand

Engineer Ripley, the green slime near the shop, offers an upgraded Wand of Boxing for renovation. Its blast radius can be resized; it can box and store furniture in one cast; and a focused spell targets placed walls and foundations. Use the appropriate mode for what you are moving.

This is particularly useful around construction changes. The Great Outdoor Shopkeeping Update explicitly recommends the wand if furniture or decorations become hidden by changes to the surroundings. Check the radius and target before casting across a carefully arranged room, then rebuild a small section at a time.

4. Paint surfaces before matching the details

Expanded painting supports the home, interior and exterior walls, beams and trim, floors, ceilings, roofs, decks, patios and various decorative building pieces. New paint options can restore surfaces to their original appearance. Start with a limited palette so the later furniture choices are easier to judge.

Wall pieces bought from the Book of Summoning can be painted differently on each side. That lets one wall serve two rooms with different colours. The later Building Toward the Future patch reports fixes after the painting expansion, so update the game before troubleshooting a colour or surface issue that an older build may have had.

5. Use colour-changing garden collections

The Everhue Collection comes from the Bloomkeepers' Guild at shop level 8 and introduces six colour-changing flower varieties. At shop level 17, the Topiary Society offers the Prismleaf Collection of colour-customisable hedges. These are concrete unlocks to plan around when designing a garden.

Use a repeating flower or hedge colour to connect the entrance with an outdoor seating or market area. That is an aesthetic suggestion, while the unlock levels are developer-published requirements. Decks and patios support outdoor shops, and customers are documented as exploring those spaces in rain and snow as well as sunshine.

6. Keep collections separate from stock for sale

Aquariums hold your catches, with alternate interact controlling the locked or unlocked state. A rare seasonal fish can therefore remain a display piece instead of being treated as merchandise. Check that setting when you reorganise the fish area or switch a room between selling and collecting.

For other materials, choose processing tools around what you have available. The Fluffwhirl update introduces new threads using an expanded variety of materials from furry companions; the Powderwright gives scales a saleable powder output. Those released uses are more useful than hoarding everything for unspecified future recipes.

7. Use precision tools for the final pass

Items that support full rotation can be turned around different axes. The location snapping grid can also be adjusted, and scalable objects show their current size. Use these tools to align repeated pieces rather than relying on camera perspective alone. If a rotated rug ends up under the floor, the developer recommends the Wand of Boxing to retrieve it.

Flight, toggled with F by default, makes high shelves and overhead views accessible; check input bindings if needed. For photographs, F10 hides the GUI while leaving critical interface elements visible. These controls support inspecting the layout from several angles before committing to another expansion.

8. Match gathering tools to the current project

The Glowharvest Spire is listed under Magical Items. Its button, above the Book of Almost Everything, can harvest berries, tend animals and mine stones within the placed spire coverage. The later update shows nearby spire radii while repositioning, which helps you see overlaps instead of guessing at coverage.

Seasonal changes now include different apples and, in a later update, migrating creatures beginning with Summer. Use the current year, season and day display to track what you are observing. Plan around those documented changes while keeping future seasonal additions separate from the materials already available.
